Recently, a moldavite from our customer is identified as natural tektite by TULAB. Moldavite is the natural glass fromed in the impaction of meteorite, sediments is melted and splashed to form pieces of natural glass. Recently, the market is flooded with artificial glass imitation of moldavite. In TULAB, gemologist identify natural moldavite by means of EDXRF, UV-VIS and microscopic inclusion images.
