客人送驗一顆藍寶石，經過本所三位GIA鑑定師檢驗，確定是火熔法合成藍寶石。火熔法合成藍寶或紅寶的特徵，最常見的是寬度僅10-50微米的彎曲生長弧線，偶見的特徵是呈線型排列的細小氣泡，由於氣泡的大小僅5-10微米大小，顯微鏡倍率不足的情況下，外觀類似細小的點狀粉末，只有在極高倍率下才能看出氣泡的外型。您想省下50萬學費就能學習真正的寶石專業知識嗎？請參考林書弘所長所著『實用寳石學』一書！
This sapphire from our customer is identified as flame-fusion synthetic sapphire. This kind of synthetic corundum is characteristic of curved striation (10-50㎛ in width) and linearly-oriented bubbles (5-10㎛ in diameter). These bubbles are too tiny that thay look like powders under lower magnification rate, but easily identified as bubble under higher magnification rate.
